Melissa Boswell
Visionary Builder and Communicator in Science, Health & Human Performance
I build meaningful things at the intersection of science, health, and human performance, turning complex ideas into people-centered innovations. I currently serve as VP of Science & Research at the Joe Gibbs Human Performance Institute, where I lead teams pioneering new ways to understand and optimize human potential. I’m also the Founder of Rethink Health, a digital health program reimagining osteoarthritis care, and I am the President of the JG Human Performance Foundation, dedicated to expanding access to performance science for all.

With a PhD in Bioengineering from Stanford, I bridge biomechanics, psychology, and digital technology to transform how we understand movement, mindset, and health. Beyond the lab, I’m a certified yoga instructor, wedding officiant, and podcast host, passionate about creating spaces where people connect, grow, and discover new possibilities.

At the heart of it all, I lead with integrity, creativity, and heart — building innovations that make science and health more human, accessible, and impactful.
